Marquette’s favorite end of summer festival is back in Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park Friday, August 26th and Saturday, August 27th.

 

Filled with fun for the whole family, great food, beverages, and music, this festival has a purpose. HarborFest, sponsored by Marquette West Rotary, raises money to support Marquette County non-profit organizations providing programs and services that improve the quality of life for residents of all ages. Marquette West Rotary was founded in 1984 and has raised over $700,000 for grants for over 50 local non-profits.

 

Sales from wristbands, beer, wine and seltzer support the mission of Marquette West Rotary. No carry ins.

 

Bring your own chairs or blanket and join in the fun.

 

Admission is free, so what are you waiting for! Join us for two days of fun in Marquette’s Mattson Lower Harbor Park.

The Journey

The Journey
Traverse City brings you one of music’s hottest rock bands in perfect tribute form; “The Journey Tribute” is thrilling and entertaining audiences all over the world. Let this band of extremely talented musicians take you on a “journey” of some of rock’s most enduring classics, including Faithfully, Stone in Love, Who’s Cryin’ Now, Wheel in the Sky, Don’t Stop Believin’ and many more. Be prepared for a high-energy show with that great concert feeling when these musicians recreate the sound of arguably one of the greatest rock bands of all time! The Journey is a five-man Journey Tribute group with the incredible front man Jim Adkins aka "Ninja." Not only does he look and dress the part but his vocals are literally second to none. As a professional front man, Jim's performance is highlighted by his ability to capture the audience!

Uncle Ugly

Uncle Ugly
Uncle Ugly was formed in Marquette in 1988 with original members Charlie, Wyndam and Mike, under the name Split Image. In 1991, it released original music and had to change the band name to Uncle Ugly. The band performs classic rock and original music and has had a few successful radio songs, such as “Give Me a Chance” and “You're the One.” Each member has a very successful solo career, but they continue to play select, larger shows together each year. After 34 years playing together, there is no denying there is a magic chemistry that keeps Uncle Ugly alive.

Reverend

Reverend is a Marquette County-based band that plays a wide variety of rock, hard rock and alternative rock music. Formed in 2017, the band consists of Ben Wilson [drummer], Gene Uuro [guitarist], Christopher Walimaki [bass guitarist] and Chad Mager as lead vocalist. The band plays venues across Marquette County, the Upper Peninsula, and in summer festivals with cover tunes that lean toward more positive messages.

Tuesday Jones

Tuesday Jones
Tuesday Jones is Marquette's classic rock band with the blues. The group features a no-nonsense twin guitar attack, in the pocket rhythm section and gritty, heartfelt vocals. Formed in the summer of 2017, Tuesday Jones is made up of veteran musicians from such notable regional groups as: wRec, BluesWolf and NightStrike. The band plays a fun mix of 70's and 80's two guitar songs, as well as blues standards and a few tunes from this century to keep it interesting. The band made their debut performance at the inaugural Marquette Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony on November 4, 2017. The following year, Tuesday Homes was the recipient of the 2018 Rising Star award from the Marquette Music Hall of Fame and is permanently featured on the Wall of Fame.
