About Rotary

Marquette West Rotary Club meets on Wednesdays at noon. Our meetings combine service to others, socializing, lunch, networking and information about our community.

Meetings let you rub elbows with interesting movers and shakers in town. We undertake service projects each quarter to improve our community. We sponsor a quarterly meeting dedicated to socializing and fun. The regular luncheon meetings are dedicated to learning about what makes Marquette County a great place to live, work and play.

Rotary International (RI) is the world’s foremost service organization. Rotary International I was founded in 1905 by Paul Harris as a way for community leaders to get to know other community leaders. Today, the organization is made up of over 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world. Its members form a global network of business, professional and community leaders who volunteer their talents to serve their communities and the world. Rotary’s motto “Service Above Self” embodies the humanitarian spirit of the organization’s 1.4 million members. Strong fellowship among Rotarians and meaningful community and international service projects characterize Rotary’s impact worldwide.

“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”
