Music performances at Harbor Fest are a combination of local bands and major acts out of Chicago. The music has variety including Country, Folk, Blues but with a heavy emphasize on Rock. Each night ends with a headliner band.
This year on Friday we will feature the highly acclaimed act out of Chicago, Bumpus. They play a mix of some of their own original material along with covers. Their powerful brand of soul music channels the uplifting energy of Sly & the Family Stone, the energy of James Brown and the reflective cool of Marvin Gaye. Led by singers James Johnston, Ava Fain and Tina Howell, they bring together funky big beats, deep bass, lush JB Horns and a heavy organ sound that results in a high-octane musical funk frenzy.

The feature band for Saturday Night is also from Chicago and they are Kashmir. We are extremely excited to bring the nation’s #1 Led Zeppelin tribute show up to the people of the Upper Peninsula. Kashmir possesses the live stage show, sound, and likeness to bring audiences and fans back to the days when the mighty Led Zeppelin ruled the musical landscape. With the playlist of every classic rock station and the most identifiable voice in rock history, Kashmir’s show features Page’s iconic double-neck guitar, Bonham’s drum solo, the stage show of the era, and most importantly, the greatest hits that make up the soundtrack to peoples’ lives.
