UP’S Classic Rock Band – Nineosix (906)
What do you call a group of dedicated musicians who live across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula? Nineosix or 906 incorporates musicians from the Copper Country and Marquette. Despite the distance they need to travel to get together, the group has found a solid footing on the UP music scene. The six member group frequently plays at Negaunee’s Jackson Pit. The danceable variety rock sound the band puts out is no accident. The group contains some of the most experienced musicians seen on local stages. The group prides itself on their professionalism as well as great energy and a light show second to none. They focus on rock from the 70’s into today.
